Gita Jayanti is celebrated by followers who revere Bhagavad Gita as their Divine Mother because She teaches us how to re-establish our lost relationship with Supreme Personality of Godhead who is our Divine father

Want to share some of my favorite verses
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.11

Soul and the Supreme is even more important than religious formularies
The body is born and is destined to be vanquished today or tomorrow; therefore the body is not as important as the soul. One who knows this is actually learned, and for him there is no cause for lamentation, regardless of the condition of the material body.

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: While speaking learned words, you are mourning for what is not worthy of grief. Those who are wise lament neither for the living nor for the dead.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.72

That is the way of the spiritual and godly life, after attaining which a man is not bewildered. If one is thus situated even at the hour of death, one can enter into the kingdom of God
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.63

From anger, complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6.1

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: One who is unattached to the fruits of his work and who works as he is obligated is in the renounced order of life, and he is the true mystic, not he who lights no fire and performs no duty.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6.6
For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends; but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7.16

Of these, the one who is in full knowledge and who is always engaged in pure devotional service is the best। For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me
